Thomas Manolis
Information Security Officer, AMS-IX
Thomas is a Principal Information Security Officer with over three decades of progressive experience in various information security roles all around the world. He plays a crucial role as an information security expert, serving the world’s leading internet exchange, the AMS-IX.
Thomas is responsible for the ISO 27001 framework, supporting the entire ISMS. He designs, implements, and oversees the deployment of architectural InfoSec concepts in highly regulated environments while coordinating penetration tests and red teaming efforts. He also interfaces directly with regulatory compliance obligations when necessary, aligning them with the overall success of the company’s expanding information security program.

John Kindervag
Creator of Zero Trust, Former SVP ON2IT
John Kindervag, creator of Zero Trust, joined ON2IT in 2021, the same year he was honored as Cybersecurity Person of the Year by CISO Magazine.
He is recognized globally as one of the leading cybersecurity experts, best known for creating the Zero Trust framework. His expertise in security practice is extensive, having served as a security consultant, penetration tester, and security architect. In 2021, while being Senior VP at ON2IT, he was one of the main authors for the NSTAC Zero Trust report presented to the President of the United States.
John is passionate about advancing cybersecurity practices and continues to contribute significantly to the field, driving forward initiatives that enhance security on a global scale. We are honored and proud that John still remains and always will be an important part of the ON2IT family.
Matthijs Zwart
CIO and CISO, Vitens
Matthijs is CIO and CISO within Vitens, the largest drinking water utility in the Netherlands. Vitens serves a third of the Dutch population with clean spring water, which is purified and distributed using 96 production facilities and over 55.000 km of pipeline. Vitens is aiming to become fully data driven and at the same time people focused. Matthijs plays a leading role in this transformation.
Next to changing the culture and technology, he is responsible to keep Vitens ready to face the challenges of an ever-increasing cyber threat. He holds a Master of Science in Applied Physics.
Martijn Peijer
Cybersecurity Expert SOC, Dutch Tax Office
Martijn started using a computer when he was only 5 years old and created his first virus when he was only 9 years old. He has been working in cybersecurity for quite a few years now. Currently employed as Cybersecurity Expert at the Security Operations Center (SOC) of the Dutch Tax Office,
Martijn is focusing on Threat Hunting, Ethical Hacking, OSINT and CTI. He is also a part of several external collaborations and is a member of several external collaborative groups, such as the J-SOC and the Anti-DDoS Coalition and is also responsible for coordinating the creation of the plan of attack for the national DDoS test on behalf of the RED-Team each year. Furthermore, he is a Cyberspecialist at the Dutch National Police and in his spare time he likes spending time on NFC/RFID hacking, participating in CTF’s and messing around with the Flipper Zero and various other hacking tools.
Remco Poortinga
Team Lead Security Technology, SURF
Remco Poortinga – van Wijnen is Team Lead Security Technology at
SURF, the collaborative organization for IT in Dutch education and research. He and his team are responsible for providing technical services to SURF members that help them in improving their security posture, such as VPN, SOC/SIEM, issuing of certificates, mail filtering and others.
Remco has been at SURF for more than 15 years. He has an MSc in Electrical Engineering (University of Twente, 1997).

Jayson E. Street

Referred to as a “notorious hacker” by FOX25 Boston and a “World Class Hacker” by National Geographic, Jayson E. Street prefers to be known simply as a Hacker, Helper & Human. A Simulated Adversary for hire, he authored the “Dissecting the hack: Series,” required reading at multiple colleges. As the DEF CON Groups Global Ambassador, he has spoken at DEF CON, DEF CON China, and other ‘CONs & colleges. He also lectured at the Beijing Institute of Technology for ten years.
Jayson has explored networks worldwide, successfully robbing banks, hotels, and government facilities on five continents, with only one error in Lebanon. A lively speaker, he has enjoyed pizza from Bulgaria to Brazil. Proudly, he was named one of Time’s persons of the year for 2006.

Junior Corazza (Network and Infrastructure Analyst graduated from UNIFAFIBE in São Paulo) has 18 years of experience in security and corporate networks, with 15 years dedicated to the ISP market. The foundation offers lawful intercept and disclosure services, DDoS mitigation through NaWas, and threat intelligence via the Clean Networks Platform, all nonprofit. Octavia is dedicated to fighting Internet abuse, enhancing cyber resilience, and advancing the position of women in cybersecurity, while engaging in a broad cybersecurity network and public-private partnerships.

Frank Dupker (NaWaS by NBIP) is a key figure in the transformation of DDoS mitigation across Europe, protecting over 45% of Dutch Internet domains. Frank and his team have built a strong coalition of providers, enhancing collective defense capabilities and reducing costs as a non-profit organization. Their agility in responding to evolving threats has strengthened the digital resilience of their members, ensuring business continuity against rising DDoS attacks.
